The Man Who Walked Between the Towers
One of the most exciting and memorable stories in the history of the World Trade Towers is that of Philippe Petit, a French man who walked a tightrope between the massive monuments in 1974. Narrated by Oscar nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, this is an animated adaptation of the lyrical Caldecott Award-winning book by Mordecai Gerstein. Directed and animated by Michael Sporn, with music by Michael Bacon (of the Bacon Brothers).

Monster Planet
This is from the Astroliner film rides. You go to this ride called the Astroliner, you take a seat, buckle up, and keep your eyes on the screen and the ride moves along with the film. There was Monster Planet and Bermuda Triangle. Stanley M. Strawn did both of these films. Also, keep your eyes peeled for two cameos from two stop-motion movies that the late, but great, David Allen worked on.

"Saudade", such a unique and particular feeling, in this documentary, people talk about their biggest longings in their lives.

Reagan's Nightmare
If Frankenstein's Monster is to the dark side of science, King Kong is to the Great Depression, Alien Invaders (like The Blob and The Thing) is to the Communist Threat, Godzilla is to the bomb, and The Milpitas Monster and Hedorah the Smog Monster are to pollution. Now, this robotic dinosaur made of various technological devices from Japan is to Japanese consumerism and possibly globalization!

Blind Spot: Hitler's Secretary
Documentarians Andre Heller and Othmar Schmiderer turn their camera on 81-year-old Traudl Junge, who served as Adolf Hitler's secretary from 1942 to 1945, and allow her to speak about her experiences. Junge sheds light on life in the Third Reich and the days leading up to Hitler's death in the famed bunker, where Junge recorded Hitler's last will and testament. Paul Newman: The Restless
Multi-talented, Paul Newman is one of the greatest American actors of all time. With his silhouette of a Greek statue and his unreal blue eyes, he embodied the quintessential Hollywood star. But he never seemed satisfied. The son of a Jewish sporting goods retailer who despises him and a Catholic mother who adores him, driven by self-doubt and an inherited need for approval from his childhood, he has worked throughout his fifty-year career to break the image of the pretty boy. He made his first experiences in the famous Actors Studio. The breakthrough as a screen star came in 1958 with "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". From then on he preferred characters on the edge of the American dream. With archive images and film excerpts, the documentary paints a portrait of a socio-politically committed man with many facets and also pays tribute to the role of his wife Joanne Woodward.

Strange Birds
The allegorical story of two humanized birds - father and son, who usually walk the earth and fly only in case of danger. The two birds are out for a leisurely stroll, playing music together and taking selfies until a hungry cat attempts to spoil their fun. After several unique and imaginative evasive maneuvers, the birds pelt the cat with apple bombs. The film is one of the jewels of the cartoon: the Czech tradition, Disney anthropomorphism and innovative pre-electronic music score.
