Carl and Robert are two doped out guys who lives in harmony with the world around them and let life pass by in an eternal hash high. Explanations reveal Smiles to be Dorothy's sister and Ben, Jim's father. He was wounded while defending Marjorie's mother, whom Leighton killed.
