It’s immediately clear his patients need his help: the March Hare, the Mad Hatter, Tweedledum and Tweedledee and the furious Queen of Hearts all claim to be from somewhere called Wonderland. Walking through the Looking Glass, Alice finds herself in Chessland, a magical and fun world. There she meets the Red and White Queens, as well as many other amusing friends on her journey across the chessboard countryside onto become a crowned queen.

A jet-propelled white rabbit flies through the vulva of a supine woman into a wonderland where people and objects turn inside out, changing shapes and identities at warp speed. Events roughly follow Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland." The caterpillar and the queen make appearances, as does Alice. Images and symbols are often sexual. At the end, Alice asks, "Who has had such a curious dream?"

Alice in the Underworld: The Dark Märchen Show!!

Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" goes goth in Mari Terashima's screen adaptation of the children's classic. Terashima brings together Goth Loli performance troupe Rose de Reficul et Guiggles, doll maker Mari Shimizu and magician and actor-dwarf Mame Yamada (Blue Spring, 9 Souls) to create a macabre trip down the rabbit hole. The film appears animated, but the gothic characters are as real as can be.

Betty in Blunderland

Betty falls asleep doing a jigsaw puzzle and finds herself through the looking glass into a modern, urban wonderland. The shrinking potion comes from a "Shrinkola" dispenser. When most of the characters assemble, Betty sings "How Do You Do" to them. But the jabberwock steals Betty away.
