Luckily, his family is there to support him. But when you’re a Berthet some things just aren’t as simple as they seem.

Barbara is a British sitcom starring Gwen Taylor in the title role. A pilot was broadcast in 1995, and three series were then televised from 1999 to 2003. It was made by Central Television, and filmed at their Lenton Lane studios in Nottingham in front of a live studio audience. The majority of location scenes for the series were filmed in various suburbs of Nottingham, including Mapperley and West Bridgford, with other scenes filmed around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Despite winning awards and respectable viewing figures, it was axed by ITV in 2003.

Nick (19) is on his gap year, but doesn't get much further than the sofa or job centre, Janey is as sharp as a tack and 16 going on 25, while Michael is a very bright, computer-nerdish 12 year old who is just discovering girls.

Queer Duck

Queer Duck is an animated series produced by Mondo that originally appeared on Icebox.com and later moved to the American cable television channel Showtime in 2002, where it aired as a follow-up feature of the American version of Queer as Folk. Although far from being the first gay cartoon character, Queer Duck was the first animated TV series to have homosexuality as its predominant theme. Like several later television cartoons, Queer Duck was animated in Macromedia Flash. The show was created, written and executive produced by Mike Reiss, executive producer of network cartoons The Simpsons and The Critic. The animation was directed and designed by Xeth Feinberg. The theme song for the cartoon was performed by the drag-queen celebrity, RuPaul. Despite the suggestive content, there is no graphic language or any sexual content, but the latter is heavily implied throughout the series and the movie.

And the four chapters are: Divorce, Infidelity, Misplaced Love and Repair. Each episode’s subject corresponds to the related chapter. And the narration is based on the visual perspective of one or two leading characters so as to show different versions of the plot line. Emphasis is placed on those who are preoccupied by switching between narrator, visual perspective and time and space. Moreover, conflict and suspense in the story reflect certain issues in romantic partnerships in real life.
